One school can change
an entire community.

Who We Are

The First Days of School Foundation (FDS Foundation), founded in 2001 by teachers Harry and Rosemary Wong, helps teachers and children around the world meet their needs to fulfill their potential and realize their dreams.  It provides educational opportunities to one of the poorest countries on the planet—Cambodia.  The FDS Foundation funds the The Wong Meanreth School in the Kompong Thom province deep in the jungles of Cambodia.

In a commune where not a single school existed, the FDS Foundation built The Wong Meanreth School with a student body that exceeds 1,000 students.

It’s Open House at The Wong Meanreth School anytime.  We invite you to drop in and meet the children and teachers and learn about life in Cambodia.
